This is the 10th year of the Austin City Limits Music Festival.  You can in the celibration by getting a single or three day pass. There are plenty of Austin City Limits Tickets for sale but don't want too long before they are soldout. 


There will be something for everyone this year with top-end headliners from several different genres.  The mainstage artists will include Stevie Wonder, Arcade Fire, Kanye West, Coldplay, and My Morning Jacket. Fleet Foxes will also play on the main stage, as too will Alison Krauss & Union Station, Nas & Damian "Jr Gong" Marley, Cee Lo Green, TV on the Radio, Iron & Wine, Randy Newman and Big Boi.

After the slew of summer festivals in June, July and August, the ACL allows music fans across the nation to travel to Texas for one last hurrah before the 2011 festival season concludes. There will also be a wide range of artists to delight ACL fans.

Such artists as Preservation Hall Jazz Band & the Del McCoury Band, soulful folk favorite Ray LaMontagne, and indie darlings Chiddy Bang and Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. will all play ACL 2011, as well Empire of the Sun, Death From Above 1979, Bright Eyes, Chromeo, Cold War Kids, Sara Bareilles, Brandi Carlile, the Vaccines, Foster the People.

About the Austin City Limits Music Festival

The ACL Festival was launched in 2002 to benefit the Austin Parks Foundation, which helps improve and maintain parks in the city. Initially a much smaller event, ACL grew quickly, and the organizers were able to bring aboard top headliners like Al Green and Sheryl Crow, as well as future stars Kings of Leon and Jack Johnson. About 70,000 holders of Austin City Limits tickets attend each day of the event. This year the 2011 ACL Festival schedule will incorporate more than 130 indie, country, rock, and electronic acts over three days. Expect this year's festival to be a special one, as ACL is celebrating its 10th anniversary.
